ARCELOR MITTAL HUNEDOARA – Romania has successfully commissioned the
new caster-equipment for the sections 200x200mm which has been recently supplied by ABAX.
The new caster-components include mould-housings with ABAX copper-tubes, segments, secondary-cooling equipment, dummy-bars. The equipment will allow to increase the product mix for beams.
This is a repeat order from ARCELOR MITTAL HUNEDOARA, who is working with ABAX since many years. So far ABAX has supplied the equipment for the following bloom-sizes: 200mm round, 280x310mm, 240x270mm.
